  1. What do you mean it wasn’t your fault? If you can’t tell the difference between a button marked ‘all-staff’ and a button marked ‘security’ then I don’t know what you are doing in IT. Darren

  3. The University takes it’s responsibilities towards personal data extremely seriously and would like to offer its unreserved apologies to the Vice-Chancellor.

  4. Darren? Is that you, Darren? Will Ada be driving away in a tense denouement and a puff of smoke? What is that literary device called? Are we to discover in the end that a member of the working classes was the culprit?

    1. So many questions, my dear, and so little time.
      A) Darren is not answering his emails, after the unfortunate publication to all staff of the Vice-Chancellor’s private correspondence this morning.
      B) Que sera, sera, as my late colleagues in Modern Languages would sing, swaying gently from side to side as they did so.
      C) Are you thinking of mise-en-abyme, dear mise?
      D) Which particular misdemeanour do you have in mind?

  5. Mise! Stop interrupting Darren from IT while he’s sorting out the mess he made.
Dear, dear, Ada- always so calm, so erudite, always thinking of others.
